New Horizons
I've spent a lot of time worrying about what I should share on the Internet.
And it's been a while since I gave some pieces of myself out, on loan, or permanently, to the ether.
There's not a lot that I feel I have to say that hasn't been said better by others, but that doesn't mean that some things aren't worth saying.
With that said, this is a blog, in a pretty pure form.
Some thoughts, some ramblings, but also, me sharing my insights on life, empathy in tech, and of course, some of the amazing things I've encountered online.
I'll keep it real, maybe keep it upbeat, and ultimately, not put too much thought into what I write.
I used to have a pretty hardcore "editor mindset", where I'd obsess over what I wrote and then trim, trim, trim it down until there was barely a subset of who I was in the writing.
All that mattered was the message.
Or at least, I think that was what happened.
I've been told that the way I write sounds like the way I talk.
I don't know if that's true either.
So I'll pound out some writing, and hope that you read it, or hope that you acknowledge that I took the time to say anything at all.
The one thing I'll commit to is saying something.
The Future / The Past
I brought all my old posts over here, even if they're ancient, I've kept them. Why not? Some of them are worth reading at any time. Others are tied to a specific point in time. I didn't want to lose them.
But I'm moving forward.
Join me on the journey!
What I'm Watching / Listening To
I recently watched Season 2 of Arcane. It's animated, it's beautiful, it's deep, and it's just a gorgeous show that happens to be set in the world of League of Legends, though you don't need to have played a second of the video game to know what the show is about.
There are a couple of songs from the show that are on repeat in my playlists right now. Maybe I'll take a shot at arranging them for Ecco/Those Guys.
I've included the spoiler-free versions of these songs:
