It’s election night.
Analysts are saying Obama. Analysts are saying Romney.
It’s close. But then again, people start calling elections with 2% of votes in a state being reported.
“There’s almost nothing about Romney I don’t like. There’s almost everything about Obama that I don’t like.” — Some random woman in Florida on the side of the road with Romney signs in a CBC interview.
“Obama is the person for everyone.” — Another random woman with signs on the same road in Florida.
Twitter says Obama. People exchanging email via AOL messenger on their dial — up say Romney.
Fox says Romney. MSNBC says Obama.
People are going into polling stations with no information. People are going into polling stations with too much information.
Florida is where it will be decided. Ohio is where it will be decided.
Romney is the answer. Obama is the answer.
It’s election night.
As you watch, keep your thinking cap set in high gear, and hope that enough Americans are doing the same thing.
